Pull a list of active students within a date range?

I'm trying to see how many unduplicated students we have during a specific timeframe for grant report purposes.

Currently, the only way I know how to get this number is to pull the student entry/exit summary, and then do a ton of work in excel to make sure i have the correct group of students.

Is there an easier way to do this? Or does anyone have any tips on how they've streamlined this process?

i have been wondering the same thing. It is difficult to pull all student data for demographic reporting and grant reports without knowing which students have enrolled or exited school during a time frame. have you found any solution? I would like to know how to pull all students (active and unenrolled) during a specific time frame, even if they have unenrollled during that time frame.
