PTG and PTPro in same school-will reports work?

We have been using the PTPro Gradebook this semester and are "less than enamored" with it.
So we'd like to switch back to the older PT Gradebook second semester. However, we have about 4 teachers that would rather stay with the Pro.

My question is, our reporting bundle works with PTPro, and previously it worked with PTG, but if I switch, would it work with both?

I think I've seen somewhere on this forum that the reports pull from different tables, depending upon the verson, so I'm not so sure.
