PowerSchool 7.5.1

We are seriously considering upgrading to this latest PowerSchool upgrade possibly during Christmas vacation because of the new co-teacher and whiteboard enhancements. We usually start working in PowerScheduler by the end of January. I have some of your customizations in place. I wouldn't want to lose the reports bundle, enhanced parent portal, just to name the big ones.

Will this upgrade affect your customizations?

I am running all the customization you mentioned and we have been 7.51 since the day after it came out. I only have a quirk with a self designed log entry search report in the bundle. the big thing I saw was java updates and my folks had to clear cache to operate normally. the white board seems cool, co teaching adds extra step for assigning even one teacher or changing teachers. I like if you know a class is changing teachers in the future you can post date the change

If you use alphabetic characters in your section numbers, dependent sections will not work when scheduling a student. We use the first three letters of the teachers name as the section number in our Elementary Schools. All of the students classes besides Homeroom are set up as dependent sections for Homeroom. Now a new student must be enrolled individually in each class.

As far as customization, 7.5.0.1 did not have any adverse affects. We have Custom Page Management turned on.
