Is there a plan to upgrade this so we can filter by Grade level and export the incidents with type, data, student, etc or create a parameter to allow for a selection of students?

I have administrators who want to be able to look at a selection of students and run this report.

Which of the Incident reports are you referring to in this request?

Wondering about the possibility of having the 'Incident Search' report be able to add current selection.

Thanks for all you do!!!

We are currently exploring ways for adding a "Make Current Student Selection" option to the report.

When running the Incident Count By Code (Demographics Breakout) all Ethnicity values are 0.
Is there a way to may this work to show with the new Ethnicity codes?

The report uses the Scheduling Ethnicity field. You will need to populate that field if you want to see ethnicity totals.

An update using Federal Ethnicity codes has been added to the PSCB enhancement list.

The report for Incident Count By Code (Demographics Breakout) doesn't report any breakdown for ethnicity. Does anyone have a suggestion for a fix for this issue?

Lucy L. Hall

This report uses the Scheduling Ethnicity field. Field Name: ethnicity.
Confirm that this field has been populated.

I just installed the plugin and Enabled it but it does not show up anywhere.

Confirm that you have installed and enabled these two plugins.
PSCB - Base Resources
PSCB - Custom Reports (_Home Page)

When completed - a PSCB Custom Reports link will appear on left navigation menu on the Start page.
Click on the link and a list will appear showing you the PSCB report plugins you have installed.

I've installed the incident reports and I can run them. Those in other roles can run the report, but they get no results for students who do have incidents. I tried modifying the export edit access in the user role to include all incident categories (Start Page > System Administrator > Roles Administration > User Access Roles > Edit User Access Role), but that did not work. I went into the group setup and the group tied to the role does have access to incidents. What am I missing?

Confirm that you given each security group permission to access the Accessible Incident Types you have created.

In the PowerSchool group permissions, they do have two of four Accessible Incident Types.

With PowerSchool versions greater than 20.11.3 It seems that the Suspension List report is only looking at local suspensions. PA State reportable suspensions are not being pulled into the report. Since that is a valuable report to make sure any student that was suspended is being reported to the state it would be helpful to include state reportable suspensions in the report. Servers on 20.11.1 and prior pull the correct suspended students for Pennsylvania.

If the suspensions are no longer appearing, this would indicate that state (PA) has moved the storing of this data to a different location (A new Database Extension and field names).

The PSCB Suspension report will not report suspensions stored in this new location.

When we run this report either for a single student or a group of students it just spins and never returns the data to the screen. Any ideas?

What exactly are these supposed to do? I run them and get no values. Thanks.

This would indicate that you have not completed the Incident Management setup.

At the District Level - Navigate to Start Page > District Setup > Incident Management Setup

View and complete all Incident setups.

Virginia has recently begin to use the Incident Management module instead of the Log Entry page. We have 14 subcodes under an action called Disciplinary Sanction Code^, but only a handful like STS1^ (Short Term Suspension) are pulling on the list output. A team at Central Office is hoping to use this list to identify students that have been reported with expulsion (EX1 and EX2).

When I run the "Students Incidents Summary" report and click on the link for a particular incident I get the popup window "Incident Details". However, the incident Description box is always blank and does not display the full description. Also, it would be ideal to be able to print the incident detail info as I do not see a way to do so from the built-in Incident Mgmt functionality.

If the description is blank on the popup window, this would indicate that the no description was entered when the incident was created.

Navigate to Student Incident page and determine whether a description was entered for the incident.

I confirmed that the incident has a full description, not the 1 line title that appears in the search/report results. The description field in the popup that appears when I click on the incident ID link remains blank

This issue will be addressed in the next release of the plugin scheduled for 1/20/22.

When I click on the incident ID link from the Incident Search report I get the following error.

An error was detected contacting the server. Please contact customer support if this continues to occur.

Thanks. Will it work like the other Incident reports with the right side popup of detailed info or will it bring up the actual incident in edit mode?

Also, another nice addition to the Incident Search report would be ability to customize the columns listed. One column that I've received requests for is the "Created by" / Author

PSCB Development has no plans provide an option to customize the columns display on the report. "Created By" and "Author" were added in latest release. If you want add or remove fields you will need to use CPM to customize the SQL.

I understand the reports restrict access based on the Incident Type permissions set in group security, but we mostly use role security, not group. It would be helpful if they worked with role security as well.
Thank you

PSCB will explore options for adding role security.

The incident reports include Log Type security by group. You can additional security by creating roles and assigning them to the group or individual user.

Role Security is the responsibility of PowerSchool administrator for the district.
