This bundle includes 23 attendance reports organized into 4 categories.

Note: The Daily Attendance - Audit report requires that the Audit attendance records box is checked on the School Setup > Attendance Preferences page.

These reports provide an alternative option to the One Stop Attendance plugin previously published on PDS.

1.8 (2019-2-25)
- Fixed an error with the attmtg_edit.html file. Meeting Attendance codes can now be modified correctly.

2.0 (2021-02-07)
- All attendance reports are now school based only. We are currently developing new district based reports.
- Added additional report fields (Including track) and filter capabilities to most reports.
- Added over 15 enhancement requests submitted by the Powerschool community.
- Consolidated the Selected Date and Date Range reports into a single report (Daily and Meeting).
- Added 2 new reports.

2.1 (2021-03-14)
- The Daily Attendance - Selected Date (Modify) and Meeting Attendance - Selected Date (Modify) reports are now 20.x compatible.
- Added Multi-Select attendance code filter option to several reports.
- Added Teacher filter option to the Meeting Attendance Report - Date Range report
- Added collapse/expand window option to several reports.
- Added additional report elements to the Student Attendance - Daily/Meeting Summary List report.
- The Daily Attendance - Consecutive Days Absent report has been temporarily removed from the bundle. This is due to compatible issues with the latest PowerSchool releases. PSCB is working on an update that will published when completed.

2.2 (2021-03-18)
- Added enroll status to 3 student attendance reports.
- Updated Daily Attendance - Consecutive Days Absent report to be compatible with Powerschool 20.x.

2.3 (2021-04-09)
- The Student Attendance - Daily Absent/ADA Summary Totals report now has an option to display grade level totals for a selected group of students.

2.4 (2021-05-16)
- Added new report: Student Attendance - Meeting Dates and Count Summary
- Special thanks to Adrian Carlson for permission to include this report in the PSCB Attendance bundle.

Additional Plugin Requirement

The following PSCB plugins should be installed prior to the installation of this reports bundle.

PSCB - Base Resources
PSCB - Custom Reports (_Home Page)
PSCB - Customization (Student Attendance Pages)

Installation

Install in System > System Settings > Plugin Management Configuration

Do not unzip the plugin. Install the entire zip file. Be sure to enable the plugin once it's installed.

If you are updating, you can now click on the Plugin name and then use the Update button, and then browse to the new file and click Submit and it will then load the update and then ask you to enable it.

Instructions

Select a school and go to the Powerschool start page.
Click on the PSCB Custom Reports link on the left navigation menu.
Click on the Attendance link to access the Attendance Reports menu.

The tables shown are the same even if you choose what specific students to view.

For example, I select a specific group of students and run this report I still see the totals for the whole building, not just my selected current selection.

Is it possible for the table to reflect the Students To View totals only.

Confirm that you are following theses steps.

Make a current student selection.
Navigate to the Student Attendance - Daily Absent/ADA Summary Totals
Click on the drop down under Students To View.
Select Current Selection. The student selection count will be displayed.
Click submit.

Let me start by saying, I know this is a user error, forgive me.
When I run the (2.2) School Attendance Daily Attendance Summary, the Membership and Present columns generate "<<<<<<" for any date range that I select. I am sure I have omitted setting something up correctly. Thank you for any recommendations to remedy this.

I have the most recent version installed. The report is pulling 2 records per student, one of which has an erroneous District of Residence. These are all PK3 students who have no other enrollments at any time. Any ideas?

Hi,
Were in summer school and I have students remote enrolled. I tried running the meeting attendance reports and I am getting blanks. I tried to select the kids first and then run the reports and they do not work. Any ideas?

First, the Student Attendance - Daily Absences/Monthy Summary has "Monthly" misspelled. Second, the report does not appear to count Absence codes except for the default "A". We added an "Absence Remote / A-R" and it is being ignored in the counts. The "A-R" is picked up fine on other reports including the "Student Attendance - Daily Count/Dates Summary"

Navigate to Start Page > School Setup > Attendance Conversions.

Confirm that all attendance code conversion values have been entered corrected.

I suspect that you did not enter a conversion value for the newly created "Absence Remote / A-R" code.

We are running PowerSchool 20.11.4, PSCB - Base Resources 3.3, PSCB - Custom Reports (_Home Page) 2.0 and PSCB - Custom Reports (Attendance) 2.5. We have some users, but not all, who are getting a blank drawer when they click on an attendance code to edit an attendance entry using "Meeting Attendance Report - Selected Date (Modify)". We are seeing this on at least Safari Version 14.1.2, Chrome 94 on Windows 10 and Firefox 92 on Mac/Win 10. We have tried clearing cache and logging the user into freshly installed computer so they get a completely new profile. Is anyone else seeing this? Any ideas what we might be able to do to get this working?

Any ideas why the Teachers missing attendance doesn't work when "All Periods That Started" is selected? All other cases work.

If you download and installed the PSCB - Bases Resources plugin v3.5, HTML export buttons will be appear on all PSCB customizations and reports.

Hi, We are still seeing random students who inaccurate attendance data when we run the Student Attendance - Daily Absence Alert
report for > a certain amount of absences. We have some students showing up with 40+ absences but they have only been absent 1 day. Their FTE looks good. Is there anything else we can check? Thanks.

The email addresses are now there in version 2.7 that was released on 01/08/2022, In fact, When clicked it creates an email with address and message indicating the class/period that needs attention. This is an awesome feature and makes it so quick and easy to send a message to those teachers.

The only issue I'm having is that when "All Periods That Started" it's showing classes later in the morning or afternoon. We are hosted by PowerSchool and it lists the correct time, but I'm wondering why the issue?

Is additional set up required for the new Student Attendance - Chronic Daily Absent Alert? No data is returning for that custom report.
The School Attendance - Chronic Daily Absent Metrics is pulling data using the same ADA threshold. Thank you!

The report that comes up for missing teacher attendance is great. I have some sections that do not populate in the email as well as no date. Is it possible to add the date to the email?

The way it is set up does not allow for that. Is there a way to have it set up like the "Meeting Attendance - Current Date Summary" where staff can click right on any attendance code and update as needed. It would help staff more easily see period attendance throughout the day and be the 1 stop show to update as needed. Thank you for everything!

The Meeting Attendance - Selected Date Report report is designed to be read only.

The Meeting Attendance Report - Selected Date (Modify) had the edit code feature.

It was designed that way for security reasons.
