Description

This bundle includes 20 attendance reports organized into 4 categories.

Daily Attendance

The bundle adds 2 reports to the Start/Functions Menu

Note: The Daily Attendance - Audit report requires that the Audit attendance records box is checked on the School Setup > Attendance Preferences page.

These reports provide an alternative option to the One Stop Attendance plugin previously published on PDS.

1.8 (2019-2-25)
- Fixed an error with the attmtg_edit.html file. Meeting Attendance codes can now be modified correctly.

Additional Plugin Requirement

The following PSCB plugins should be installed prior to the installation of this reports bundle.

Installation

Install in System > System Settings > Plugin Management Configuration

Do not unzip the plugin. Install the entire zip file. Be sure to enable the plugin once it's installed.

If you are updating, you can now click on the Plugin name and then use the Update button, and then browse to the new file and click Submit and it will then load the update and then ask you to enable it.

Instructions

Select a school and go to the Powerschool start page.
Click on the PSCB Custom Reports link on the left navigation menu.
Click on the Attendance link to access the Attendance Reports menu.

Hi, Ive been updating many of the PSCB reports with one of our custom fields. It has worked successfully on many reports, but when I try to add it to the daily and meeting frequency reports, it no longer runs. It seems like I am updating the code correctly as it has worked on other attendance reports. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot? Thanks!

If we are using meeting attendance, and do not have a bridge period for daily attendance, is it possible to use Attendance conversion or Average Daily Attendance to make these Daily attendance reports work? I am curious if any other schools using meeting attendance without a bridge period are able to have Daily attendance numbers.

The report will report all daily attendance values that are manually entered or calculated by a meeting attendance conversion method.

I am trying to run the School Attendance - Daily Attendance Summary and the HS keeps coming up as 100% attendance. The other schools seem to be accurate. What am I missing? Can you please help me? Thank you!

The PSCB - Custom Reports (Attendance) bundle is currently being updated to include student track in all necessary reports. The update will published in 4 stages by category.

Category 1 - Daily Attendance is scheduled for release on 10/23/20.

In Meeting Attendance - Selected Date Report (Modify), when exporting to CSV, the student name and attendance code fields have extra whitespace and line breaks included. While not visibly obvious when opening the CSV in Excel for the student name, the attendance code doesn't appear unless the row height is expanded. The line breaks and whitespace are visible when opening the CSV in a text editor.

Good Afternoon. The Dean of the HS just loves this report but it is not giving any Tardy totals. Where do I go to set up that information? The two tardy attendance codes (TS and T) are mapped to the Attendance Code Category of Tardy. Am I missing a step?

Hi,
We are running some of the meeting attendance reports, and it would be great to have an average or totals of the codes at either the bottom or top of the screen. So if Im looking at a student, I can see the total # of a code he has for that day. Can this happen? It would be great to have something like this on the Attendance/Enrollment page as well. As you do for daily attendance. Thanks!

We ran meeting attendance report for the current day and a specific period, Meeting Attendance - Selected Date. Can we get the course name on there? It's helpful to quickly clarify who is missing from what. And/or on this report Meeting Attendance Report - Selected Date (Modify). Thank you!

We have still been using the student attendance range report from the old Custom Report Bundle. Recently the copy button stopped workling because it used Flash. My question, is there an easy way to rework the copy/export boxes or is there a plan to add a similar Student Attendance Range report for the current PSCB Attendance Reports

The PSCB - Custom Report (Attendance) includes a Student Attendance - Daily Absent/ADA Summary Totals report.

This report will provide you with the same information (and more) as the old CRB report.

We just discovered that the headers are not matching up to the proper period. In this report, it is showing up as:

P1 P2 P3 P4 P5... when actually, it is
P1 HR P2 P3 P4

In the Meeting Attendance - Current Date Summary, it is listed correctly as:
Period 1 Homeroom Period 2 Period 3...
This is how it the headers should be. How can this be corrected?

When looking to modify a student attendance record for Meeting Attendance (middle/high schools), the pop-out window does not display any options. The screen is completely blank. When modifying daily attendance (elementary schools), the information is available to make the change and works properly. Please advise.
