Comments

So is PSCB replacing the CRB? noticed that all the crb categories seem to be moving over to this.
Thanks

Hopefully this will provide some clarification.

a) The CRB customizations will still be available for download from PDS.

b) If CRB is not installed, I would suggest the user download and enable the PSCB plugins. PSCB is a collection of newly developed pages, reports and updates/enhancements to most of the CRB customizations.

c) If CRB is installed, the user can also install the PSCB plugins. The PSCB setup is completely independent of CRB. PSCB uses a separate navigation link and home page for the report bundles. Once PSCB is installed, the user can decide which customizations they want to use moving forward.

I have installed the base and the custom report home page and I have installed enrollment, incidents and PowerSchduler plug ins. However, only the enrollment report shows up when I click on the PSCB link on the left menu. Help please.

The location of each plugin link is listed in the description of the PSCB customization.

The Students Incidents Summary link is on the student navigation menu.

The PowerScheduler PSCB Reports link is on the the PowerScheduler start page menu.

Would it be possible to add gender, race, and ethnicity to this so that it can be used for CRDC?

Thanks!

Peggy Medema

I have found that the Phone Number Search screen only returns the correct value when only the last 4 digits are entered. When the whole phone number is entered, either with our without hyphens, No search values are found.
Is this a known issue with this report?

Enter the phone number(s) only - no spaces, hyphens, or other characters.

Does the phone number search pull from all phone number fields in PS or just the home phone number?

The report searches all student custom fields where the field name contains "phone".

Thank you so much for all your work on these reports! We love them. We have noticed that the phone number search does not search core fields like motherdayphone and fatherdayphone unless the student was in the system prior to the core field migration which causes confusion because some motherdayphone numbers will be in the result but not all of them. It would be nice if it included all motherdayphone numbers or excluded all motherdayphone numbers.

Hello,

Not a biggie but thought someone should know:
• Activity Membership List - View membership list for a selected school activty.
The last activity is spelled wrong ;)

Thanks. The typo will be corrected in the next release of the plugin.

Hi,
This report is great! But it would be helpful if we could select all activities and all students and their activities would populate. We have someone that manages all student activities, their attendance and GPAs, so having 1 list would save her some time. Additionally, is there a way we could get attendance percent data in the report? And GPA if possible?

Any chance you guys will be adding Field Verification Report so it looks at the old clob fields as well as extended student fields in the near future?

Sorry, PSCB Development has plans to incorporate the CLOB fields into this verification report.

The phone number search gives me zero results no matter what I put in the search. I'm even using a phone number from one of my student contacts and it shows no results - no spaces, no hyphens or even phone number exactly as shown in PowerSchool.

This report is not compatible with the current Student Contacts fields configuration.

Plans for updated report has been added to the PSCB enhancement list.

I have downloaded the plugin and it looks great. Only 2 activities are displaying in the drop down menu. Am I missing something? I have multiple activities set up.

The drop-down only displays activities that have student assignments.

If you do not see an activity name that indicates no students have yet been assigned to that activity.

I have multiple activities that students are enrolled in. Band, football Pe, Chamber Singers, Basketball, etc. Only AOSF and National Honor Society show up.

Check your activity setup.

When creating the activities were they assigned to a single school or all schools?

If activities were created and assigned to a single school, you will only see the activities assigned to that school.

Hi
I'm loving these reports - one request, any chance of extending the age report to give students of a particular age on a certain date. We often have to generate a list of all students eg over age 16 on a given date, and it would be amazing if there was a report to do this! I feel the 'age' report is getting close to this!
Thanks for all your work on these reports,
Gayle

Age calculation date will be included in the next release of this report.

The original CRB Misc. reports grouping (Youngest Child) used to allow 2 address type options, by Street Address or by Mailing Address.
However the new PSCB Misc. crop of reports now includes a report "Mailing List - School" where you now select either the youngest or oldest child at the address, the problem is that only the street address is being looked at. Can I request that the address type filtering options from before can get incorporated into the new misscelanious bundle?

This request has been added to the PSCB enhancement list. It will be included in the next release of the report.

Where do I find the Sibling List Report? Thank you.

Michelle Minton

PSCB does not have a Sibling Report as part of a reports bundle. Describe the data you want to include in a report of this type.

So When I upload the sibling list and pull the report, it pulls all students, even those that do not have a sibling. How can I get it to just pull those with the same mailing address.

After running the report, you can filer the results by entering >1 in the Count column filter box.

Hello,

All the custom reports are so helpful. Thank you all for the hard work.

I just can not figure out why the 2 identical addresses are listed (instead of single)? I know they are identical because I ran it with Excel format value if they are duplicated. Has anyone reported this problem? If so, what causes it?

Are they case sensitive? For example, BLVD vs. Blvd or AVE vs Ave? I think they are - I change them all to Blvd and it only show 1 now. Would it be possible to turn that off?

Thanks,
Maggie

Maggie Wang

The report query is currently case sensitive. The addresses need to me an exact match. I will add your request to the PSCB enhancement list.

I have updated my version of PS to 20.4.2 Prior to the update the duplcate contacts featured worked, but now it just runs non stop and doesn't pull any results.

Run the report using smaller selection of students.

The sibling list was working for me, but now only shows students enrolled at the school. The only way I can see siblings in multiple schools is to run at the district level. I re-installed the plugin, but that didn't help. Any other suggestions?

The siblings list is designed as follows:

School Level - Lists all siblings attending the selected school.

District Level - Lists all siblings attending any school in the district.

If you want see siblings from multiple you need to run the report at the district level.

When I pull the sibling list, it shows on the screen perfectly - Thank you!
However, when I export into a CSV, the Students (Grade Level - School - Track) column is blank.

The Export CSV File button is not functional for this report and will be be removed in the next release.

Use the Copy Data feature instead.
