| Teacher/Staff Password Change Security v 2.0 | 08-10-2007 |
Pages to allow districts to empower many users to help change passwords without allowing them to change user security. Contains the Gradebook options from premier, but will still work with Pro as long as users do not use that field. May want to remove that line if still in Pro. |
| Public Login Tracker V 1.0 | 02-08-2008 |
Tracks Parent/Student login information changes. Also combines login information with the net/phone access page so all parent/student login information is located in one page. |
| Student Security | 09-22-2005 |
Allows users to add their own group security options. To use install the folder into the web_root/admin folder. Add a link to the home.html page in the resulting folder. A good place for this may be the admin/district/home.html page. |
| Login Report V 2.1 | 08-16-2008 |
Oracle Version: New report that allows you to search for logins by student, parent, teacher, admin, sub, maintenance or all of the above. You can leave the search fairly open or even drill down to a specific IP address. Check out the readme file for more options. V 1.0 (12/21/2007) - Initial Release |
| Faculty Login History V 2.1 | 08-16-2008 |
Oracle Version: Allows admin users to view a faculty member's login history from the faculty/staff records. V 1.0 (05/05/2008) - Initial Release |
| Security By Group V 2.0 | 08-11-2008 |
Do you need to know which groups have access to which pages? How about with the upgrade to 5.2, do you need to know who will now need to be able to view demographics modify now that demographics view has been removed from the system? Ever wonder who has access to a specific page with a sensitive piece of data on it? Then Security By Group Report is perfect for you! |
| Disabled IP Addresses V 1.1 | 02-02-2009 |
The security feature built into PowerSchool that allows districts to limit hacking attempts by locking out certain IP addresses after N failed attempts is a good feature. However, sometimes when you clear the IP from the disabled list the system fails to release that IP. This customization adds a list to the bottom of the Disabled IP Addresses page showing IP addresses that aren’t on the currently blocked list but will, in fact, still be blocked. It also gives you a link to press to clean that record up. V 1.0 (01/30/2009) V 1.1 (02/02/2009) |
| Teacher/Staff Force Password Security v 2.0 | 10-30-2007 |
Pages to force password rules on teacher and admin passwords. Allows districts to force users to change passwords after a given number of days if they choose. Forces paswords to NOT contain first or last name of the user. Disctircts can choose to force a minimum number of characters for the password, at least 1 letter, at least 1 number, at least 1 upper case letter, and/or at least 1 non-alphanumeric character. A list of banned words can be created to also force certain words to NOT be included in the password. READ THE DOCUMENTATION VERY CAREFULLY!! |
| Who's Logged In | 11-20-2009 |
Currently PowerSchool shows you who’s logged into the PowerSchool website. This of course does not help you if there are Staff Members logged into PowerTeacher Gradebook, ReportWorks or PT Admin. The page modifies the existing Login’s screen to show what users are currently authenticated against the DB via Tomcat. I created this because I needed to install more memory in our server and needed to check that users were not currently submitting data to the database. With this page I can see just that. |
| Login Report V 1.2.2 | 02-29-2008 |
New report that allows you to search for logins by student, parent, teacher, admin, sub, maintenance or all of the above. You can leave the search fairly open or even drill down to a specific IP address. Check out the readme file for more options. |
