Some step by step directions on how to create more alerts than what come with PowerSchool. Directions were originally posted on PSUG for pro but also work with premier. Setting experation dates does not make the system auto clear the custom alert text.

Custom parent/guardian page that combines last, first, middle names into father, mother and 2 guardian fields. Also includes some verification of information, several phone numbers for each contact, 2 mailing addresses with salutations for each, ability to declare which contacts are assigned to each mailing, fields that will pull the correct names for each mailing in a fist last and last first format.

Some step by step directions on how to create and use a brand new wildcard.

Creates a location to insert state names in a list to show in a drop down. After Unziping the file, place the resulting folder in the web_root/admin folder of your PowerSchool server. Make a link to the home.html page in the new states folder wherever you would like to allow people to add a new state to the drop down. A good location for this is the admin/district/home.html file.
