Is it possible to customize the attendance page in PowerTeacher to include any or all alerts for a student? It gives a teacher an immediate notification. Typically a teacher in district takes attendance and then immediately launches the gradebook. If they could see the alerts with out having to click on individual students in PowerTeacher, it would be helpful.

I would like for parents to be able to print out a report card / or a report that will show on one page the grade and comment for a particular term.
Is this possible?

Currently we print them out and mail them to the family.

Second question:
when we do a query and need to select multiple field for the export we can choose the field but we need to click the field one by one...
It would be nice to have a check box by all of the fields to make a multiple selection!

I would like to see a report for the admin portal that would allow our offices to print progress reports that include student assignment information for students that are at or below a certain final grade percentage for the term.

Would love to see the Fees reports and Fee Transaction reports to include further breakdown by course number/name and then activity type.

Then to make life even easier (ha!) a template to import the payment data exported from RevTrak into PS fee transactions.

I would love it if PowerSchool would give us more control over comments. We can postpone publishing grades by post-dating the entries; we can exempt an individual grade or an entire column of grades. Couldn’t they give us an option under the Comments on whether or not to publish the comment? This flexibility would make it easy for me to keep a record of minor student issues that may eventually add up to a pattern without triggering an excessive and premature parental response.

Never mind. I have found a solution to this particular problem. If anyone is interested in a solution, feel free to write.

I'd like the students daily attendance to appear in a Date, Code, Comment format, from the student Academics sub-menu.

The reason is, the current daily student attendance isn't something we can bring to legal proceedings without spending time explaining the document.

Add the Student_Number to the report.
We would like to us this report to generate a file for our automated phone system program.
It will only dial out by keying off of the Student_Number not last name, etc.

Several of my secretaries have asked for a report where they can print ALL teachers' schedules rather than one at a time. They would like to see something similar to the Student Schedule Report under Group Functions. If something like that already exists and you can point me in the right direction, I would be most appreciative.

What you have done with the verifications is great!! One improvement could be to have it so when you click on "teacher schedules" from the main page the list of teachers would highlight and teachers who have grades that do not match. That way office staff could quickly scan the list rather than having to open each one.

I would love two features on the all enrollments page:

The ability to just view the current year (Roger made something similar for the log entry)

The term and section id to show...so we could see if it is a dropped class.

It would be nice to have an interactive page-security page that shows the page vs group, and allows changing the security setting in one matrix. It would be fine to have the number code as the input for group, view etc to keep things smaller. There was a nice report that shows this, but you still have to go to each page to change the settings. If you use this feature, it gets hard to keep track of what is what. Thank you to the original report engine author, that does help a lot.

Not a high priority, something that happens once or twice a year to review. But when you do it, there is a lot of clicking involved with the standard issue.

What is the best way to manually backup Preimer 5.2.1 that is running on a 10.4.11 server. If I shutdown PowerSchool what files should I copy to an external drive?

Is anyone going to Update the Verification package to reflect the significant changes in the Standard pages in 5.2.0.x?
