Reports bundle update

A update to the reports bundle has been released. The new bundle includes some important upgrades:

  1. New report to help schools detect H1N1 outbreaks via comments (many other uses as well)
  2. Addressed the report size issue using 3 additional include files. All reports have been updated to use new includes
  3. New report has version information at the bottom per user suggestion.

I wasn't able to get all the version information on each report, that will take some time. The new includes were thrown onto the reports very fast so please notify us if there seems to be any problem with any of them. Also let us know what you think of the new report and any changes you would like to see.

You can find the reports bundle at this location

*Update: Added Today's Daily Attendance Summary report. Shows today's daily attendance along with YTD counts of the code each student received today, absents and tardies.

Common Includes

What exactly is the purpose of the download called "Includes". How are these files different than those with similar names in many of the customizations. Which are the latest versions of these files?

Just wondering?

Re: Common Includes

In most of the Custom Reports from PDS we run very close to the 32k size limitation in PowerSchool. Reports use many common chunks of code that we at PDS could just use over and over again, much like a wildcard. The problem is a wildcard counts towards the 32k. By making the Header, Footer, Boxtop, Boxbottom individual includes we can just use these chunks of code over and over again. This also lets all the report look generally the same.

New Report! Student Attendance Range Report

Recently downloaded the Custom Reports Bundle & want to thank you for all your work! They are great. I'm not able to get some of them to work however. The Student Attendance Range Report looks like one we could use but not sure how to make it work. Please advise.

Teacher's Grade report

Do you have anything created that will allow a teacher to run a report and get a total of A's and B's for example on a specific assignment or category? Thanks for you all do, Joan Williams
