Quick Lookup Attendance Comments

Pages for both admins and teachers that add attendance comments to the page that appears after meeting attendance numbers are clicked on from the quick lookup screens. Be sure to read the readme on where to copy the files and a line of code to adjust to make the pages work for your district.

Quick Lookup Attendance

Love this but teachers want it to show everytime a student misses their class, whether it be for a field trip, etc. Is there a way to make that occur instead of just "absences"?

You may want to look at the Meeting Attendance Lists or Daily Attendance Lists custom pages for that instead. Both have teacher versions that appear in the backpack area and list out the attendance codes and comments just for their class, plus a count of each code. Here are the links to them -

Nothing Shows Up In Quick Lookup

Thanks in advance for all the awesome reports. I made the necessary changes to the IDs and uploaded them to the correct folders. When I go to the Quick Lookup screen the attendance does not show up. I have tried switching between the schools and district, however, nothing shows up. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Thanks !

Is nothing showing up on the Quick Lookup screen or do you see attendance numbers there but when you click on them nothing shows up on the next page? Also, which version of PS are you on?

You're welcome. I'm not sure what would have caused the missing attendance on the quick lookup page because the custom pages don't replace that page. The one page just replaces the page that comes up after an attendance number is clicked and the other page is an insertfile page for it. There may have been something else that caused the attendance to not appear for awhile, but good to hear it's working okay now.
