Don't go to 6.0.1.3!!! Pearson has just pulled it off their support site. I was just playing on my test server trying to run a report and I continue to get the errors I was getting on 6.0.1. Readers of the previous post may have noticed that Bob and other users having worse problems.

I am officially removing my endorsement of 6.0.1.3. See, this is why I normally wait and test on my test server for a week or two before upgrading. And now that we are still in a panic we'll still need to upgrade as soon as the next fix comes out. Fun for us all!

I'm on 6.0.1.3 and haven't

I'm on 6.0.1.3 and haven't had any problems, BUT....

When I originally updated to 6.0.1 and I started getting Java array errors, I was able to track it down to custom fields having data put in them the first time.

To combat this, I logged into all the servers I support and initialized every custom field in our state reporting and customization packages. Of course, all my servers were popping array errors by the time I was finished.

I then restarted each server and application and haven't had the issue come back again. It took me over 2 hours to go through the 10 servers I support and do it, but I've been sleeping better since then.

I'm glad that it worked for you. Rebooting hasn't worked for me unfortunately. What has helped is I set up a server task to run at 4:30AM every day that shuts down PowerSchool and starts it back up 30 seconds later. I hate the idea of killing powerschool like that but I don't want to have to reboot randomly in the middle of the day either. Since doing that my errors have not been present on that node on either 6.0.1 or 6.0.1.3. On the test server node that I didn't do that to I still get the random errors.
