This custom page adds the ability to use the actual course name to schedule a student. If you’re like me, you find it easier to enter the coursenumber.sectionnumber to schedule students, but who can remember all those numbers.
The Screenshot itself gives a better description.

Not showing courses - grade levels of sections completed
I loaded this file and adjusted some of my sections so they had grade levels. I still do not see any courses "pop up" when I type a letter. Is it possible that this will only work for the current year and not for next years schedule. If that is the case, please let me know.

I must be missing something.
I copied the page to the admin/students custom directory. I see the new field, but when I start typing nothing is auto completing. What might I be missing?
thanks,
Chris

Re: I must be missing something.
Do you have the Grade Level setup for each section? This field must be populated to determine what sections to list.

RE: I must be missing something
What if you don't fill out the grade level because a section can apply to multiple grade levels?
RE: I must be missing something
You will need to include each of the grade levels that apply to the section. So if the class applies to 6-9 enter the grade level of 6789.

Re: I must be missing something.
That was it. I am assuming that it will then only list the sections that match the students grade level.
