How To Add a Custom Alert

Some step by step directions on how to create more alerts than what come with PowerSchool. Directions were originally posted on PSUG for pro but also work with premier. Setting experation dates does not make the system auto clear the custom alert text.

PS alerts have 2 gif files

I noticed that the alerts in PS have two gif files - one smaller than the other - the larger one usually has "white" in the name. Is there something about this I should understand?

Also, is 1.52 K too big? I noticed that most of the alert symbols were just 1 K.

Error

I am getting an error when I click on the alert. Any idea's? Nevermind I had to take out a _ it was messing things up. All is good now

I see in the description that setting the expiration does not clear the alert text. Has you discovered any way to automatically clear the alerts?
