Disabled IP Addresses V 1.1

The security feature built into PowerSchool that allows districts to limit hacking attempts by locking out certain IP addresses after N failed attempts is a good feature. However, sometimes when you clear the IP from the disabled list the system fails to release that IP. This customization adds a list to the bottom of the Disabled IP Addresses page showing IP addresses that aren’t on the currently blocked list but will, in fact, still be blocked. It also gives you a link to press to clean that record up.

V 1.0 (01/30/2009)
- Initial Release

V 1.1 (02/02/2009)
- Updated editfailedIPcount.html to reset the failed count to 1 less than the max allowed. This causes the user to get locked out again if they continue to enter bad username/password combinations.
