Consecutive Absences Report V 1.0

This report will look up students who have a minimum number of consecutive absences within a given date range. The report works from a school and from district office. Once the minimum number of consecutive absences has been met it will continue counting past the end date given until the student does not have an absent record. User can also choose to see any student that meets the requirements, only active students, only graduated students, or only inactive students. Attendance is looked up based on the school it was recorded from, not the school the student is currently in. This allows for the user to view attendance records for the same school from previous years, even if those students have changed schools and/or graduated.

*Daily attendance only!

V 0.5 (10/06/2008)
• Initial Beta Release

V 1.0 (03/26/2009)
• Fixed issue with report counting consecutive absences that start on the last date of the range selected and meet the min. number of absences requirement. Now only shows students who have N consecutive absences that occur within the date range. However, the last day will still display the last consecutive absence date even past the final date in the date range.
o EX: N = 3, End Date = 3/18/2009 -> Student A has 6 consecutive absences, 4 of which are within the date range so the student shows. Student B has 3 consecutive absences starting on 3/18/09 so the student does not show.

Doesn't work with "All Students" selected

This is a great report, but it only works if I first select a group of students and then use the "Selected" option in the pull-down. It does not work for "All students."

Does this report work with Meeting Attendance?

When you say "*Daily Attendance", does that mean that this report doesn't work for schools that use Meeting Attendance?

Thank you,

Web based or object?

This report is listed under 'objects' but is marked 'web based'. FYI

re: Web based or object?

Is it possible you switched to object in the reports area but didn't click submit? I don't see it listed as an object report and the revision history tells me no one went in and fixed it so I'm not sure why it came up as a object report for you.

5.2.0.6 needs x/x/xxxx format in date

Great report. I found that I had to change the auto fill date (12/1/08) to 12/1/2008, then it worked great

Broken in 5.2.0.9?

When trying to run this, we get the following error:
Non-select tlist_sql filtered out

Re; Broken in 5.2.0.9?

Please see PowerSource document id 55553, for how to fix the error you having.

Re; Broken in 5.2.0.9?

I followed the instructions in document 55553 and no longer receive the error, but we don't get any data. The headers show fine, but no students are returned even if we enter 1 for minimum number of days.

Re; Broken in 5.2.0.9?

Does AZ do something special for attendance? It could be a simple as that, would it be possible to check with someone else in AZ to see if it works with them?
