Is this going to wotk for 6?
This would be a great report - something I need right now
Re: Is this going to wotk for 6?
This works with 6.0 and is also included in the Reports Bundle.

GREAT report
We would like to use this report to find the number of OSS frequencies by meeting or daily (which this report does), BUT we need this report to run from a current selection of students. Ex: special education students - how many days served OSS
Is this possible?
Thanks,
Ruthie
Broken Calendar
This report was working perfectly for me until we updated to 5.2.1 and now the calendar's are broken.
For our High school the dates on the Attendance Frequency screen are 9/2/2008 to 2/22/2009, because the calendar icon is broken I can't change the dates.
I can, however, select show meeting and any code - hit submit and get a list of information. However the attendance info is only for the span of time from Sept to Feb.......
I would love some help in getting this up and running again - my staff loves this report.
Thanks

re: Broken Calendar
Does the calendar work on the District > Misc page if you try it there? Does the image show up at all? Are you using an image server? I have a feeling some of the calendar popup customization was overwritten when you copied all the stuff from the new scripts and images folders to the image server. That'd be my first guess.

I too love this report! It
I too love this report! It works awesome for our high school which takes meeting attendance. My question is for the middle and elementary school is there a way to change it to pull actual days absent instead of frequency. The thing we have found is when asking for the min frequency it may give us 10 records but in those records we may have a mixture of half and full days so it is frequency but we are needing the actual number of days absent.
Thank you

No results
I have downloaded this report and put it in the custom web_root. It shows up on the screen perfectly...has my attendance codes...everything. However, no matter what codes, dates or frequency I pick, I get no results. In Firefox it displayed what appears to be headers. In IE it gives me an error of The page you requested could not be found on this server (Error 404). Any ideas???
Thanks....
Attendance Frequency Report
HELP! Anyone????? I really need to get this to work!
Thanks,
Jane
RE: Attendance Frequency Report
It works here... just tried it. It's hard to help without knowing more specifics...
-Are you checking "show daily", "show meeting" or both?
-Are you entering a minimum number of occurrence?
-Did you load all 3 files into data/custom/web_root/admin/reports/attendance/ ?
-Are you on Oracle (PS 5.2.x)?

Problem with Calendars
Hi,
I am having trouble will the calendars showing up on the page. Not only are the calendars not showing but the submit button is off to the right. Is there a fix for this problem?
Thanks
JUST AWESOME!

SQL Query Shows Up on the HTML page.
I downloaded the attendance frequency report.
Since our High School operates out of different buildings, I needed to add an option to pick the building location from a drop down. The drop down works fine up until I add 6 enteries as shown below:
High School Locations
Aboff
Admin
Dwyer
Edison
Halsey
Hamilton
The SQL script shows up on the html page the moment I add another row in the drop down.
What am doing wrong here? Is there a limitation on the number of rows that a drop down can have?
I have made the changes to the tlist_sql accordingly. And it works fine in SQL plus.
Any tips would be appreciated.
Thanks

Displaying only current students
Our attendance people will love this report. We have multiple classes listed at 7th Period (0 period, 7th and others) so this will help them determine which class is over the limit.
Is there a way to only display students currently active in PowerSchool. We have a few former students with major attendance issues (no longer here) showing up on the list.
Thanks

Date Field is frozen
One district I work with has been using the Attendance Frequency Report all month. Suddenly today, the date fields seem to be locked out. No changes can be made. Any ideas???
They LOVE this report. Help..
re: Date Field is frozen
The date fields are stored as school level preferences. Check to see if the preferences are really not updating. If they aren't, I'd delete them and let it re-create them.

Date Field is Frozen
Jason,
I deleted the prefs, but the report will not let me enter new dates.
Any other suggestions?
Does it have anything to do with the fact that I have not installed the calendar popup?
This report had been working....
Solution
I am answering my own question. This group seems to bring that out in me. I installed the calendar popup and the report is now working perfectly. Thank you all for continuing to support us in the style to which we have been acustomed....

Re: Date Field is Frozen
Did you at one point have the Calendar Pop-up installed? Most of the reports that have Date fields on PDS lock-out the ability to type in a date if the Calendar Pop-up preference is found. This way the Calendar Pop-up forces the correct entry of the date format.

Att freq report ..after oracle
Jason,
We used your report before Oracle and it worked beautifully. I downloaded the Oracle version and installed and it does not show any data when submitted. It is downloaded successfully because we see the 2008 at the bottom of the screen. We use daily attendance .. our current codes are showing, we select the codes, enter 1 as the frequency (to test), choose the dates, choose daily and submit. Do you have any ideas why it's not working?
Thank you for everything on this website!
re: Att freq report ..after oracle
The Sybase versions also had 2008 at the bottom. Can you try downloading it again and installing it one more time?

Att freq report ..after oracle
Jason, I loaded the report again and checked the dates of the .html files. We see our new attendance codes (added this year) but when we submit, we do not get any students.
Do you know anyone running this for only daily attendance? We do not use meeting (as of this semester)
Thanks, Carolyn
Att freq report ..after oracle
The report is working great now! Thanks for updating this for Oracle.
We were putting the dates in as before 2008-09-02 and when we put the dates in as 09/02/2008 the report ran fine ..so simple. You probably mentioned this and I missed it.
Outstanding
This works great and is something our staff have needed for a long time. Jason, thank you so much for developing this resource. Great job!

The staff love this report
This something the staff was looking for in terms of easier monitoring of attendance patterns. Thank you!
Once a search is requested, is there an easy way to make that group of students the current selected group for powerschool? This would be useful for printing off form letters etc...
Thank you,
Harry
