sqlReports

sqlReports is an ad hoc reporting add-on that can turn simple to medium sql queries in to web based reports in PowerSchool. Essentially, you would create a sql query in your favorite query tool then copy and paste the query in to sqlReports. sqlReports will help convert the query from multiple columns of raw data to just sql one column with data separated by table cell tags (the tds and /tds). You also can use up to 5 different parameters to make the reporting more flexible.

Fix tlist_sql error from 5.2.0.9

5.2.0.9 introduced a problem for the "few" people using tlist_sql in a custom page. In order to fix this a certain pref has to be set. This customization will allow users to simply click a checkbox to enable that pref. After uploading the page to your server log in and navigate to district > Misc and check the box to allow complex tlist_sql pages. Then the "few" pages you may have installed that used to work will work again.

Please note, there are 3 versions included.
1 - Basic -> for use in districts that do not use the verification or calendar customizations

What PowerViews do NOT work in a tlist_sql?

It has become apparent that some PowerViews do not work in a tlist_sql (the tool built into PowerSchool to allow you to write queries within a web page). Since this seems to be a growing problem we will try to list which do or do not work.

The Test: Create a dummy page called test.html with a basic tlist_sql statement in it. Call a PowerView and 1 specific field with no other requirements. Does it show up in the page or not? If not, is there a new record (or 2) in the log?
