Course Recommendations

Description:
This report lists all recommendations given for the upcoming school year. The report should only be run at the school-level and not from the district-level. The report does not run until the submit button is clicked.

Base Filter Applied:
The report is run for active students only. Current 12th graders are excluded from the report.

Custom Filter Options:
The report also has four custom filters that can be applied to the report which are: Teacher, Department, Current Course, Recommended Course, Student Selection (All Students / Current Selected Students).

Course Recommendations Not Given

Description:
This report lists all recommendations NOT given for the upcoming school year. The report should only be run at the school-level and not from the district-level.

Base Filter Applied:
Course Name does not start with ‘Physical Education’. Since recommendations are typically not given for Phys Ed classes, they have been excluded from the report.

Custom Filter Options:
The report also has three custom filters that can be applied to the report which are: Teacher, Department, and Course.

Incident Management - Student Displine Summary

Description:
This report lists the discipline records recorded in Incident Management for the given student and the specified date range. This report is also the Transfer Report for Student Discipline. When viewed on screen all fields are displayed, but when printed only the required fields are provided. You can test this by doing a Print Preview. The default mode for the report is as if it were a Transfer Report.
Base Filter Applied:
Start Date is set to the student’s Birth Date. End Date is set to the current date. For Transfer Report is set to True.

Custom Filter Options:

Incident Management - Setup Validation

Description:
This report lists your setup information for incident management for the given code type. The report is broken down into two sections the Main Codes and then the Sub-Codes. For example, If I want to validate my Action Codes, I select the option for Action Codes, the report will display all the Main Codes for Action Codes and then underneath it will display all the sub-codes and all of their details.

Base Filter Applied:
The report will not run until the submit button is pressed.

Custom Filter Options:
The report also has one custom filter, which is the Code Type.

Incident Management - Count By Code

Description:
This report provides a count of incidents for each code type, main code, and sub-code.

Base Filter Applied:
The report is run for All Schools or a selected school. A Date Range can be provided but defaults to the Current School Year’s First Day of the Calendar and Last Day of the Calendar.

Custom Filter Options:
The report also has three custom filters that can be applied to the report which are: School, Start Date, and End Date. This report will work in 6.x, have not tested in 5.2 or below.

AlertNow Attendance Export

This Reporting Engine report will automatically upload the daily attendance to AlertNow to enable automated nightly attendance calls to the parents for a specified building.

1. Save the attached file to your computer
2. Go to System (under Setup) -> Import Report Template
3. Click on Choose file
4. Find the report on your computer and choose it
5. Click on the Import button
6. Click on Reports
7. Click on Engine
8. Click on Setup
9. Click on HS Attendance Export
10. Scroll down to the bottom and set your account settings for your AlertNow account

Log Count

This report provides a count of students who have or do not have a log entry for a given log type, while also providing a student list of each student who has or does not have a log for the given log type.
