Log Entries by Date Range

Custom page that allows an admin to see discipline log entries by date range for the current school. Can be run for the entire student body at that school or just the current selection. Will allow an admin to search on any log they have access to - discipline, health, etc.

Log Count

This report provides a count of students who have or do not have a log entry for a given log type, while also providing a student list of each student who has or does not have a log for the given log type.

EOY Checker Custom Page

The EOY Checker custom page will check for students with possible errors with regards to next year grade level and next year school. Students with possible errors will have the errors highlighted in yellow. The page can either show just those students with possible errors or all the students in the school. An admin can click on the name of a student on the report and will be taken to the scheduling setup screen for that student where the admin can make changes to the next school or grade (the eoy checker page would then have to be refreshed to show any changes).

PowerLunch Balances on a Specific Date

A custom page that shows you the lunch balances for students on a specific date. Can be run for all the students in the school or just the current selection.

Younger or Older Than Report

Custom page that lets you view the students in the current school who are younger or older than a certain age based on today's date. There's a button at the bottom of the page to make the students in the list the current selection.

Youngest Child at the Street/Mailing Address

A set of custom pages that when loaded look through all the street or mailing addresses and lists the youngest child at each address. There's a button at the bottom of the page to make the students in the list the current selection (the current selection button may not work properly due to browser limitations if the list contains several thousand results). The customization can be used to assign a value of 1 to family_rep field or to a custom field to run mailing labels for a family, or useful for cleaning up address information.

EOY Checker RE Report

This report creates a list showing student's names, grade levels, next year's grade level, and next year's school. If next year's grade is less than or equal to this year's or is higher than one, the row will be highlighted to show the possible problem. If the grade part is okay but the next school id is zero, the zero will be highlighted. Student names are hyperlinked to their Schedule Setup screen and will open in new browser windows.

Active Only Staff Export

A reporting engine report that is an alternative to using AutoSend to export staff data for FTP purposes. AutoSend will export both active and inactive staff, while this uses a query to only pull the active staff. See the readme file on how to load the report and run it, as well as how to modify it.

Auto Fill Search V 1.3

Oracle Version: Creates a clickable list on the PowerSchool home page that will automatically fill in the different search functions such as *birthday.

Mass Print Requests Screen (IE only) V 1.1

This customization is intended to improve the mass print counselor screen to add in the ability to print the view current and future course requests screens for a group of students. It is a simple update to the /custom/web_root/wildcards/students_screenselect.txt screen adding in several new options to closer match what you can do in a student's record.

To install:

  1. Take the .txt file and place it in your custom/web_root/wildcards folder.
  2. Log into PowerSchool and navigate to /admin/systemsettings/customization.html
  3. Click submit
